• The infamous "teddy bear" incident: "If you must know, when I was three, Fred turned my - my teddy bear into a great big filthy spider because I broke his toy broomstick...You wouldn't like them either if you'd been holding your bear and suddenly it had too many legs and..."

1991

• September 1 - Ron comes to King's Cross with his mother, his sister, and brothers Fred, George, and Percy. He meets Harry Potter on the Hogwarts Express when he can't find an empty compartment and he asks if there is room in Harry's. From this chance meeting a strong friendship begins to develop.

• September 12 - first flying lesson for Gryffindors and Slytherins.

• October 31 - Hermione is rescued from a Mountain Troll by Ron and Harry. The three become friends.

• December 25 - Ron and Harry spend Christmas together; Harry receives an Invisibility Cloak.

1992

• Spring: Ron is bitten by a baby Norwegian Ridgeback named Norbert. He spends some time in the Hospital Room.

• First week of June - Harry, Hermione, and Ron follow Quirrell after the Sorcerer's Stone, overcome the various protections, and defeat Quirrell/Voldemort's attempt to steal the Stone.

• September 1 - Ron and his friends starts their second year at Hogwarts; Ron and Harry travel to Hogwarts by means of a flying car.

• September 2 - Ron receives a Howler from his mother.

• September 5 - Ron's Slug Curse backfires and he ends up belching slugs for an hour or so.

• October 31 - 500th Deathday Party for Nearly Headless Nick.

• December 25 - Ron, along with Harry and Hermione, takes Polyjuice Potion.

1993

• May 24 - Ron and Harry go into the Forest, following the spiders, and encounter Aragog.

• May 29 - Ron and Harry enter the underground passages of the Chamber of Secrets.

• June 26 - Ron tries to call Harry on the telephone.

• Summer - Ron and his family visit Egypt.

• August 31 - Ron meets Harry and Hermione in Diagon Alley. They are all staying at the Leaky Cauldron.

• September 1 - Ron and his friends begin their third year at Hogwarts, which is now surrounded by Dementors.

1994

• June 6 - at sundown, Ron is taken by Sirius Black to the Shrieking Shack, where it is discovered that Ron's pet rat Scabbers is really Peter Pettigrew in disguise. Ron is attacked and injured by Lupin who has changed into a werewolf.

• Monday, August 22 - Ron attends the Final of the 422nd World Quidditch Cup, along with Harry and Hermione.

• September 1 - Ron and his friends start their fourth year at Hogwarts.

• October 31 - November 24 - Ron and Harry have a falling out and don't speak to each other until after the First Task.

• December 25 - Yule Ball, 8 PM until midnight, Ron's date is Padma Patil.

1995

• February 23 - Ron is put into a Bewitched Sleep by Dumbledore and is carried to the bottom of the Lake to serve as one of the hostages for the Champions in the Second Task. He is brought to the surface the next day by Harry.

• Summer - Ron spends his time at the headquarters of The Order of the Phoenix, 12 Grimmauld Place.

• August 31 - Ron is made Prefect and gets a new Cleansweep racing broom.

• September 1 - Ron travels to Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express.

• September (second week?) - Ron is made Gryffindor Keeper.

• October 5 - first meeting of Dumbledore's Army in the Hog's Head.

1996

• May 30 - Gryffindor beats Ravenclaw.

• June - Ron takes O.W.L.s.

• June  (after last O.W.L.) Ron and others of Dumbledore's Army fly to the Ministry of Magic on thestrals, go into the Department of Mysteries, and fight a battle with a group of Death Eaters. Ron is wounded, but survives.
